The Spirit Orcas are active swimmers in the waterways around Victoria and the Capital Regional District (CRD) year round. We are a safety conscious group and love sharing our water safety knowledge so others can learn from us and swim safely.
This summer they are producing a series of Spirit Orca Water Safety Videos. If you are swimming in the open water we hope you take a few minutes to view them
The Spirit Orcas are also encouraging the CRD to post water safety signs at at local beaches. Please join us in making our waterways safer by encouraging our local politicians to post safety signs at beaches.
